Statistics: Russia’s GDP falls by 3.6% in January–June
MOSCOW, Aug 20 (PRIME) -- Russia’s gross domestic product (GDP) contracted by 3.6% in January–June, the Federal State Statistics Service said on a statement on Thursday quoting preliminary data.
On August 11, the service said that preliminary estimates showed the GDP of Russia fell by 8.5% in April–June. In January–March, the country’s GDP grew by 1.6%, the service said in May.
